| As co-founder of the Design Auction and tutor at the Lincoln School of Art and Design we were extremely proud when we discovered that the four students who ran this years auction (Toby, Lauren, Steve and Danny) picked up first prize and their D&AD yellow pencils at an award ceremony in London last week. The Design Auction has raised nearly £12,000 over the past two years for the graphic design course at Lincoln. The point was not only to raise vast sums of cash for the end of year shows, but to also raise the profile of the course and the students who study on it. I think we did that. This years auction was at St Brides, where we decided to donate half the proceeds to their Foundation. On top of that we (Chris) also won the Vincent Steer award at ISTD last week. Not such a bad course then and not such a bad week. |

I opine that to get the mortgage loans from banks you ought to have a good motivation. But, one time I’ve got a auto loan, because I wanted to buy a building.
