| We created the name and identity for SquareSpot, a new online marketplace for families. The name was derived from one of their core values, being a daily deal site that is fair and square. They strongly believe in the long-term value of building a productive working relationship. As such, SquareSpot are empowering small businesses to decide what to offer along with the specific timing and terms of the offering.
The logo illustrates the name of the company, without having to lock it up in every instance. This allows flexibility within the brand. The symbol can be repeated to become a pattern, it can be turned at 45 degrees and hung as a price tag. It can also be used a container for images of daily deals leaving the spot to display the price of the deal. As an added clever twist rather than just printing the logo on a business card we made the cards square and embossed the spot so they become physical representations of the symbol.
