We have created an identity for Plan Ahead, consisting of the logo, T-shirts, lesson plans and website.

Every year, thousands of students enter high school with no plan for the future. They arrive unfocused and leave un prepared. What they lack – and what they desperately need – are skills and encouragement to succeed.

Plan Ahead is a semester-long college and career readiness course designed to help students map out and achieve their academic, personal and career goals. Taught by trained educators and supported by school counselors, it gives students the insights to make informed decisions about what they want out of life – and how to accomplish it.

Plan Ahead is underwritten and supported by the Gap Foundation, developed by The Pearson Foundation, managed by Hirsch & Associates, and crafted with input from key San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) officials. Plan Ahead will be taught to all SFUSD 9th grade students starting in the fall 2010.
