John Dowling has decided to stand for election to the D&AD Executive Committee this year with the intention of becoming the voice for the ’smaller, more creative design studios’ and those that ply their trade inside and more importantly outside the big major cities. John has been nominated by Jim Sutherland at hat-trick design, who is already a committee member and Vince Frost at Frost Design who is also looking to grab a seat on the committee. Looking at the list, there are some real big guns up for the two available design seats, so think big but vote small and give those that don’t necessarily have a voice a chance to make a change.
